122 days of no contact taught me that silence can be louder than closure. At first it felt like loss, like I was ripping a habit out of my life with bare hands. I kept wanting answers, apologies, explanations that were never going to come the way I needed them to. But somewhere in the quiet, I realized I wasn’t losing someone. I was finding myself again. I learned that healing isn’t loud or dramatic. It’s slow mornings where you choose peace. It’s resisting the urge to check a name that once controlled your emotions. It’s crying less, laughing more, and realizing your nervous system can finally rest. I learned that love should feel safe. It shouldn’t confuse you, shrink you, or make you question your worth. Real love doesn’t require you to beg for effort or accept disrespect just to keep someone around. 122 days later, I’m calmer. Clearer. Stronger. I trust myself more. I love myself deeper.
